Opening hours & fees

The child care center is open from Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 7pm.

A minimal attendance of two half days per week (20%) is required. The attendance options available are:

Morning (7:30am – 1pm with meal)
Afternoon (1pm – 7pm without meal)
Full day (7:30am – 7pm with meal)

The fee invoiced is calculated on the basis of the monthly family income as follows:

Gross monthly salary multiplied by 13 and divided by 12
The result obtained determines the entry in the rate grid, available in the regulation.
If several children of the same family attend the child care center over the same period, a 30% reduction will be applied as of the second child.

Registration procedure

Fill out the form online.
Within 3 working days:
- If a place is available, we get in touch with you and invite you to visit the child care center.
- If no place is available, we suggest you to register on the waiting list. We will keep you informed of the progress of your request.
One month and a half before child care entry, we contact you in order to schedule an educational meeting and set up the administrative file.
During the educational meeting, the Reference Educator and the Team Leader discuss your child’s habits with you and explain how the child care works.
On the first day of integration, your child is welcomed by the Reference Educator.

You will be registered on the waiting list.
Depending on the places allocation criteria defined by the City of Lausanne, the BIP manages the places and contacts the families directly.

You do not live in Lausanne

Unfortunately, your child cannot be accommodated at Pomme d’Happy. Please contact your municipality of residence to find out about the options available to you or consult the information website for families in your canton.
